For Debbie

Debbie (my other momma) gets these books in the mail, at least two a day that have all kinds of goodies and gadgets to buy. I sometimes borrow them to do some 'window catalog shopping' and then return them so that they can be her bathroom reading. In one book there was a picture... it was GORGEOUS it was a single lone tree on a foggy snowy day and it had the verse Psalms 46:10 on it. I LOVED IT! But it was $70- not in my budget for wall decor! So, she says- "Well, you could do that!".... well you know I didn't believe her. That picture was breathtakingly beautiful and serene.... But we had some snow that gave the me the chance to try... and here it is... not quite the one in the book.... but much cheaper :~) It's such a blessing to have people in your life that cheer you on and believe in you, in all things, no matter whether you believe in yourself to do it or not. I have a handful of them in my life and I do not take them for granted! Love to you all, you know who you are, and you are precious to me!

Snowy pictures of the day

Well, it finally snowed. No blizzard in my book, but that's good, cause I'm not THAT into snow. Anyway, here are some pictures of the snow around our house this morning. Hailey had been asking to make a snow angel since before it even started snowing! So I'm gonna post a picture of that too... notice that it turned out to be a one winged angel.... but I figured that's the way she flies- my one winged angel, so I didn't see a point in trying to make it something it wasn't. It's beautiful the way it is, and she doesn't know any different.

Bellies and Blizzards... :))

Aren't babies fun? You know what's even more fun? Baby bellies!!! I know, I know I am a bit weird, but I really LOVE maternity sessions! Almost as much as I love the baby sessions that follow. This is one of my dear bilble study sisters, Tara who is expecting her first born in this next month. Is she not just beautiful!?! It was hard to pick a sneak peek image, so I'm giving you three.... Enjoy!

Oh, and one more thing- Where's the snow? I am prepared for once and it's not here! I went to the grocery store to stock up on necessities, filled the car up with gas, rented movies, and parked in the garage out of the snow.... and here we sit... not one flake!! Blizzard? yeah right... not when your ready for one!! :))

Blessings,
Teresa

Random stuff~

This is a post filled with useful, yet useless information and random things...

#1) Anyone who has tried to contact me through my Wright Photography web site's contact page in the past few months and couldn't get through.. it was broke, but it is now fixed. So, if you tried to send an email and didn't get a reply- PLEASE TRY AGAIN!! I have recieved three emails in a week asking for info and session scheduling and that makes me think of how many I may have missed. :( Or, maybe there is just a comment you want to leave, or a picture you like/love (either yours or someone elses session)... by all means use that contact page! I love hearing from you (yes you!) - you are my audience, my support network, my inspiration and my dear blog followers! :~)

#3) We are headed for Kansas City today (Thursday) for Hailey's pre operative appointment with the Orthopedic surgeon. She will be fitted for her brace/cast today and get her physical done. Her and I talked twice today about her appointment, and her upcoming surgery (April 20th). It is so hard to know what a two (almost three year old) understands for sure. She says she doesn't want to get a shot. And she showed me in the car when we discussed it the first time how she could lift her right arm with her left- meaning there wasn't anything really wrong with her arm that needed fixing, because she could just raise it up that way. God Bless her sweetness and innocence, she makes me smile. I know she is a bit scared, but I am trying to prepare her the best way I know how- lots of information and answering every single WHY... and trust me there are ALLOT!!

This will be our first long trip in the new mini-van! Woo- hoo... :P Kinda wishing we would have found one with the DVD player! LOL

Oh, and here is a picture just for fun... yes Hailey is in the dog crate, no I didn't put her in there... promise!! :))

Sneek Peek for Lydia

Yesterday I did some "Sister Pictures" for Korenne an Lydia. And the photo session kind of turned into a practice run for her senior pictures! :) Either way we had alot of fun- her friend Abby came along, so I threw her into a couple of shots. There might have been a little bit of trespassing involved, but we'll never tell!! :))

News- News- News!!

To start off with:
Introducing the baby portrait plan!! Yay!! Okay, so I have been working out the details on this and I think I finally have it together... so here it goes.
'Watch Me Grow' baby portrait plan- $125 and includes: 5 sessions- newborn,3mo, 6mo, 9mo, and 1yr. One 5x7 from each session, 25 custom photo birth announcements, a 10x20 'Watch me Grow' storyboard with a favorite pose from each session, and 10% off a photo diaper bag or photo purse! Wow- that is ALLOT of bang for your buck!!! That's a savings of over two hundred dollars!!! I know, I know you are all worried about how in the world am I going to make any money with prices so low and deals this good right?!? Well, thanks for the concern, but you just keep on booking those sessions, handing out those business cards (call me if you need some to distribute) and referring your friends and family and I will worry about the rest ;) The Lord said- if you build it, they will come... and I believe it!! Oh, wait maybe that was a baseball movie that said that... either way- here I am loving my job and loving all of you out there that are being supportive, and 'fans' of my work! In times as tough as these, there is no reason why capturing timeless, beautiful images of your family, your children, your history should go by the wayside.

On another note- I got my photo purse in, and I LOVE IT!! The only issue I have is that I should have gotten a larger one... I have too much stuff!! No one has stopped me in the grocery store or the at the Dr. office to ask me where I got that cute purse with the pictures on it YET... but I am patiently waiting so that I can then launch into my marketing pitch (or my best attempt anyway:)... slick huh?

Also new to my world of photography and equipment is... drumroll please....... my new lens!!! YAY!!! I got an upgrade lens that is supposed to be amazing- hoping that it is considering that it cost more than my camera!! Yeah- ouch!! this photography thing aint cheap- that's why there's no FREEBIES!! :~( sorry.... kids gotta eat...

So, I am a busy little bee ,trying to get some new items in the studio to use with babies and toddlers and even the older ones... am working on some new background choices, am also working on launching my SENIOR PORTRAIT session packages soon, so keep an eye out for that in case you have a highschool senior in your life that may be in need of my services.

Last but not least... it's time for a giveaway! Yep, that's right I said a giveaway! I happened to follow a couple of blogs and I know for a fact that a good way to keep your blog readers faithful is by giving away free stuff! so... here it goes- throughout the end of March if you send me an email or a comment saying that you want the 'March Madness Momma's Makin' Money Deal'.. then you receive a FREE 8x10! Yep that's right- it can be from a session past (maybe yours or another family members) or I can hold the credit for an upcoming session... just drop me an email before March is up and you will get a free 8x10 portrait!!! Wait, that's not all... if you get that email/comment in today (Tuesday March 18th, you'll get a free 5x7 too)!!! I know it's just crazy me giving away all this stuff.... March Madness... what can I say? ? ?

I hope you all have a great Tuesday, a great week and thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world to see whats new!! :~) Oh, and here are a couple of pics for you die hards that only listen to my ramblings to get to see what pictures I am going to post... these are two new ones from the last week and a half...

Love and Blessings,
Teresa

Our Hailey Faith

Would you just look at my little girl growing up right before our eyes? She is going to be three years old in less than a month. And she informed me tonight as we were taking these pictures- instead of being in bed (where all other reasonable mothers and toddlers were) that she was going to be 8 on her birthday!! There you have it,out of the mouths of babes... she is two going on eight!!

One reason she is the picture of the day today, is that along with her birthday next month comes her surgery next month. And I would like to ask all of you faithful to the blog and faithful to our Lord, to please lift her up in prayer over this next couple of months. Her surgery and recovery looming ahead of us could be a fairly difficult time, especially in light of the most recent ER trip that traumatized her. Only to be followed by a horendous blood draw a few days later. It started out bad- she cried at the doctors office just to get weighed and measured, which is not normal for her. Then after the doctor checked her out and ordered xrays and blood work, I had to hold her in my lap and try to keep her still as they stuck her not once but twice, the whole time she was kicking and thrashing, crying and screaming.... it was a really bad ordeal. Especially knowing that I am holding her down as they are hurting her, and she is looking at me with terror in her eyes wondering why I am not helping her... So please pray for her as we try to prepare her for what is sure to be more scary doctors, more pain, and longer hospital stay. I just pray that God would give her peace, his supernatural peace, and courage, and understanding (as much as any three year old can have) about what is going to happen and that she is safe though it might be painful, and uncomfortable- it will ultimately bring healing and better quality of life for her. Thank you for your prayers. The day is fast approaching, and I do not really know how to prepare, and so I pray.

Thank you and God Bless,
Teresa

Specialty Products...

Hello to all my faithful followers... (my momma:)) I just wanted to let you all know that I put together pictures and pricing for some of the specialty products I will be offering through Wright Photography! If there are other things that you are interested in besides those shown below, just ask! There are many, many products available out there that I would LOVE to supply to my customers, just not enough room to display them all on my blog, or webpage! (Click on image to see a larger picture)

I am very excited to get my own photo purse and photo necklace in- so if you see me around, check out my purse... you never know whose pictures I might have on it- hint: it's an advertising tool, so I didn't put my own kiddos....

Have a great Wednesday!

Brylee and Mae's debut...

Meet Brylee and Mae... aren't they sweet?! Brylee was a little more into the pictures than Mae was, and I was afraid I didn't get anything like what I had in mind... but then I got home, loaded them up, and was pleasantly surprised at what I did get. Enjoy!
