{Washed as clean as snow}










As I promised... here are some more pictures from this years snowy weather. It was very beautiful and peaceful out yesterday as I chased after these images. I know we are all ready for spring, tired of snow and ice and cold weather. Usually because we have to drive in it, walk in it and change our plans because of it. But if you slow down and take a walk out in a snow covered wonderland and forgive the snow a little for what it is and look past the inconveniences... you will see a beautiful blanket covering God's creation with tranquility, peace, purity, and hope for a day when we are all standing before him, in white robes of righteousness, washed clean as snow.

Finally... a photo post!

I know it's been over a month... but I finally got behind the camera a couple of weeks ago for a family shoot. These are three cousins that were just too cute!! The youngest of the three wasn't really up for pictures that day... but I managed to sneak a couple of him smiliing!












Am planning a field trip tomorrow out in the snow... if I get any good snow pictures I will be sure to post them for you. Have a great weekend 'snowed in'!

Every day I watch in awe
I watch your little face change
Subtle little differences,
but differences just the same.

Frozen in time
in pictures on these walls
seems just days ago
you were so innocent... so small

It's too often sad
how those moments fade
I have the pictures to remind me
but I so miss those days...

days when you fit in my arms
days when you kicked under my ribs
nights of rocking you to sleep
...so much that I miss

those tiny little toes..
the smell of your hair..
"mommy and me"
yes, we were quite a pair

I will miss who you were
though I truly love you more everyday.
you will always be my baby
no matter what you might say

Chubby little arms and legs
soft milky cheeks
eyes like clear blue crystals
tiny baby feet

Yes... I will miss you-
miss the way it was.
One day you will understand
when you watch your own child grow up.
